Scottish Sculpture Workshop
New workshops and offices for the Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden, Aberdeenshire.
We had to take the run down existing shed, and remodel them to provide flexible. energy efficient working and exhibition spaces. The project also include the provision of sleeping accommodation and renovation of the offices.
café 52
The wonderful café 52 – an Ongoing commercial café-artist client for whom I have done a variety of work over the past 15 years. Including two café refurbishments to external seating, always something quirky and interesting. Most recent addition was an external eating booth in the form of a gypsy caravan!

Logie House
Complete renovation of Logie House for a domestic client
This project took the building from a burnt out shell, empty for 30 years , to a wonderful energy efficient, painstakingly restored family home. It has since been converted to wedding venue, and so the addition of a stable block and ballroom have also been part of our remit.

Creation of a new deli with a great client who has an eye for detail. The project won us a civic society award.

Cherry Tree Nursery
Cherry tree children’s nursery + Offices
New build children’s nursery with office floor above. Open plan nursery building to ground floor with continuous ground floor glazing to maximise the light into the classrooms and the relationship with the gardens. Use of traditional harling and cedar cladding, with galvanized steel detailing for a simple contemporary feel.
