new house design lodged for planning on skye
lower breakish : skye : a stylish but modest new croft house set low behind the existing old raised stone dyke – simple form but plenty glazing , light and open-ness to maximise the far-reaching views. contrasting stone, render and timber with simple but effective design features such as a lovely glazed corner to the full-height living areas. views out to sea and to the mountains from most of the rooms will be stunning.
completion at the Forsyth’s house
Just received these lovely pics from the Forsyth’s , whose new house is just finished. I’m going to see it for myself this weekend as I haven’t been since they moved in. excited ! Its got super views to the rear garden and so we designed in the garden elevation with LOTS of glass. views to the hills from the living areas and master bedroom. Lovely south facing veranda for sitting out under all year round.
( hard-fought ) planning approval at last ….looking forward to the next steps !
